Kathmandu International Study Centre

Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) is a British school located in Kathmandu, Nepal, offering an international K-12 education primarily for the international mission community and local Nepali families. Established over 35 years ago, KISC has grown from a small tutorial group to a vibrant community of over 200 students, providing a supportive environment that emphasizes academic excellence and personal development.

The school is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community, guided by its core values of love, grace, excellence, and justice. KISC also runs the EQUIP programme, which focuses on teacher training and quality improvement in education across various Nepali schools. This initiative aims to enhance the educational landscape in Nepal by equipping teachers with essential skills and fostering collaboration among students, parents, and local communities.

KISC is situated approximately 7km south of Kathmandu, offering excellent learning and sports facilities amidst the scenic backdrop of the Himalayan mountains. The school actively participates in inter-school competitions, promoting both academic and athletic development among its students.
