Fieldgate School

Field Gate School is an independent special school located in Fishlake, Doncaster, catering to mixed-gender pupils aged 6 to 18. With a capacity for 45 students, the school focuses on supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, including conditions such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. The school operates on a "school without walls" philosophy, providing tailored education packages that promote social engagement and personal development through small class sizes.

The curriculum at Field Gate School is trauma-informed and personalised, encompassing core subjects like Literacy, Numeracy, and Science, alongside physical activity and wellbeing. Each pupil has a bespoke timetable that aligns with their interests and needs, integrating enrichment activities that foster independence and social skills. The school also features a Forest School, which encourages outdoor learning and team-building experiences.

Additionally, the 1ACE Doncaster outreach provision offers alternative education settings for pupils who may struggle in traditional classroom environments.
