Riverwalk School

Riverwalk School is a special educational needs academy located in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, catering to students aged 4-19 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and physical mobility challenges. The school operates under Suffolk County Council's admission process, ensuring that all students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). With a current enrolment of 218 pupils, Riverwalk has a capacity of 210.

The curriculum at Riverwalk is tailored to meet the diverse needs of its students, structured around three pathways: Explorers, Discoverers, and Adventurers. This developmental approach allows students to engage in activities suited to their individual abilities, promoting independence and life skills, particularly in the post-16 phase.
