St George's CE Primary School - Welcome
Home Our School Welcome Welcome It is an incredibly exciting time to be at St. George's CE Primary. We have a wonderful, newly-built school environment, which is spacious and inviting. Our teachers are incredibly talented and hardworking and our pupils’ smiles and love of learning make St George’s a very special place to be. Our Early Years outdoor space is incredibly large and has to be seen to be believed. On our grounds, we house: two large sports halls a delightful, spacious outside area for reflection a dedicated, well-resourced music room a kitchen space for food technology lessons a whole school library with outside access a specialist art room We have also developed our playgrounds so that they offer more opportunities for physical development and zoned play. St. George’s is a one-form-entry Church of England school within the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi-Academy Trust. Being a part of the Trust offers us opportunities for staff training; the sharing of ideas; and tangible benefits for our pupils that go far beyond the offer a school of our size would normally enjoy. We are proud to have our individual vision and ethos within the family of the MAT. St George's CE Primary School - Our Values
Home Our School Our Values Our Values To equip our pupils to live out our vision statement, we deliberately plan for the teaching of values which are rooted in the teachings of the Anglican faith. Each value is an expression of part of our vision statement and linked to the Christian story. The table below displays the relationship between our vision statement, its theological underpinning and our taught Christian values. Our value of the month can always be seen in our newsletters so you can talk to your child about what they have been learning in worship time. Each value is taught over a two-year cycle during whole school and class worships. Vision & Culture Statement Be brave. Be great. Be you. We are fun. We are together. Theological underpinning ‘I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me’ (Philippians 4:13). ‘Wisdom will enter your mind, and knowledge will fill you with delightâ€â„
