Read More WELCOME TO LAYCOCK PRIMARY SCHOOL Situated in the Yorkshire countryside above Keighley, we are spoilt by our setting which is within a stone’s throw of Haworth, the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, Cliffe Castle and the first public Carnegie Library in England! Step inside our school and you will see why Laycock is such a special school. We are a small half-form entry school catering for children aged between four and eleven years of age. Children are taught in four mixed-aged classes with the exception of Reception, where we keep them in a pure year group of just fifteen children. The original school building dates back to 1891, with additions in 2001, alterations in 2012 and a refurbishment completed in 2017, providing our pupils with a learning environment which is both modern yet has great charm and character.
