I was in the forces and the only time that was done was during training and for parade. There is no other workplace that inspects the uniform. It is a form of bullying and infringement of human rights. A detention for not having a lanyard. I was a Safeguarding officer. If one of the staff didn't have their lanyard, it wasn't an offence, there were no consequences for it. I feel you've taken school back to a time when you couldn't move for infringing on some rule. All you need is to bring back corporal punishment you'll have riots on your hands. Well that's me done.
