Our school is a place where all are welcomed and invited to build a community where God’s love is shared to enable positive engagement, action and education; allowing children, staff and pupils to be inspired to raise their eyes, open their minds and explore the world God created. Participating in God’s mission of love to both the local community and the wider world, we live fully as global neighbours. Our school is part of The Melrose Learning Trust. We are located on the outskirts of Darlington in the village of High Coniscliffe. We have four mixed aged classes and can accommodate up to 105 children in school. As a faith school, we have a wide catchment and we take children from all around the surrounding area. We feed into all the local secondary schools. If you would like to visit us or would like more information about the school, please get in touch with the school office. This afternoon, 33 children travelled to Blackwell Grange Rugby Club to compete against other schools from across the Darlington area in the Darlington School Sport Partnership Primary Cross Country event. It was a mammoth task — each child ran a distance of over 1,000 metres, with distances varying by year group. Every single one of them represented our school with pride and truly embodied both our Christian value and the sports value of perseverance. It’s always a pleasure to take our children to one of the largest and most exciting events in the school calendar! ...
