Home Simon Lewis2025-09-16T15:58:46+01:00RespectResilienceResponsibility St Botolph's Church of England Primary School A warm welcome from our Headteacher St Botolph’s Church of England Primary School aims to provide a stimulating and varied programme of education to enable children of all abilities and backgrounds to acquire confidence, knowledge and skills within an environment of the Christian faith and practice, respecting also those from other faiths. Staff, children, parents and governors work together for the care of the school within the community, committed to the spiritual, social, moral and intellectual welfare of the pupils. Amy Chitty, Headteacher Aletheia Academies Trust In 2014, with Shorne C of E Primary and Saint George’s C of E School, St. Botolph’s C of E Primary School formed the Aletheia Academies Trust. Aletheia is committed to sustaining high-quality schools and supporting schools in need of specific improvement in some of the more challenging wards in Kent. Our focus is to provide school improvement services that draw on the wealth of practice from across our trust, broaden the expertise available to schools through flexible working arrangements and increase our capacity to quickly respond to the needs of individual schools. Pedagogical excellence is at the heart of all we do with a sustained focus on collaborative and mastery learning. Ofsted (March 2023) St Botolph’s is an excellent school. Please pass on our sincere thanks to all the hard-working staff who make this school community such a positive, caring, and nurturing place for our child. Parent (November, 2024) Parents are fulsome in their praise for the school. One parent, summing up the views of many, described St Botolph’s as a ‘dedicated, inclusive school where my children are flourishing’. Ofsted (March 2023) I strongly believe St Botolph’s is the best school out of all the other school in Gravesend. The staff are always so humble and helpful. They build a good relationship with children. My child feels safe and happy. There are always lots of opportunities provided for children to achieve their best. Yesterday, as a whole school, we celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. We talked about the theme of new and sweet beginnings, in an assembly led by Mrs Atwal. Throughout the day everyone enjoyed tasting Challah bread – a soft, sweet bread made with honey to symbolise hope for a sweet year ahead. 🍯🥖✨ A very big thank you to Mrs Atwal who made Challah loaves for each year group - your time in doing this was greatly appreciated. 1 0 Open ðŸ
