However I would say this is a great school for the younger years. All of the attention is given to the year 7s and onwards - it is actually a very smart move. The younger years will be spending most of their time and at least 5 years in the school , where as the sixth form only 2 years. So it would make perfect sense to give the attention to the younger years. I believe that the school still does not know how to operate smoothly and deal with A-Level students . This is evident from the fact that most of the first year staff have decided to leave and move on or return to their old jobs. There is something for everyone to get stuck into, I know friends who attend lectures at the university relating to their subjects and because of close links the school has with the university, we have access to world class sporting facilities. In fact I probably wouldn\u00e2\u0080\u0099t be going on to pursue a politics degree if it wasn\u00e2\u0080\u0099t for the school: they allowed me to start my own enrichment called Politics and Tea, which gives young people a space to discuss politics.
