Considering per pupil funding is criminally low compared with London schools they do a pretty good job. On the whole the pupils I have met have been lovely, well mannered young people. There are plenty of examples of children achieving in non-academic areas and they are motivated to achieve, which is a good half of the battle. The facilities look shabby in places and cramped (lack of funding again) but the overall atmosphere is extremely caring. Some just teach incorrectly or not at all. And its very frustrating to see teachers change there entire lesson structure when they are being observed. From nothing... to a full lesson with objectives proper activities. Etc.
