I recall a teacher looked the door with students in as she was frustrated with students running out of class but clearly wasn't aware of safeguarding when locking a door with students as well as the health and safety aspect of it. Important issues raised to senior staff which were brushed off and made the students feel like they are \"dumb\". On the topic of dumb, many teachers would go about and demotivate children about their GCSE options and career choices, no idea where in the PGCSE\/QTS they have learnt it important to demotivated children.
