During this period we changed from Secondary Modern To Beckfoot Grammar. They only focus on the top 10 or so students in order to improve their figures and the staff blame the students for their failures.\n\nWhen I first walked through the doors of this pathetic excuse of a 'school' I tried my hardest in all subjects but I soon came to the attention of bullies, I tried reporting it to my head of year almost everyday but she did nothing and neither did any of my teachers except for one, my tutor even told me it was my fault due to her belief the whole class were her friends and formally punished me, I guess I was less valuable to their 'figures' than the other students. I don't remember ever been more depressed than I was back then.\nI later came to the conclusion that I had to be an A hole and misbehave in order to survive, which worked in the short-term but it later caused more issues for me.\n\nMr Horns self-indulgent assemblies never helped me ether, they only ever filled students with a false sense of hope and encouraged snobbery. I always wanted to do better and my life would be so much different if I got my maths and English to grade C but I was never really offered any help, the teacher would talk a lot of rubbish about you 'being capable' without any action.
