I felt that teachers just critiqued and made a big deal of silly little things- especially during covid.\nOne of these is the uniform policy- I don\u00e2\u0080\u0099t understand why uniform is your priority in year 11 exam months, you should be enthusiastic and helping the kids to work hard for their exams rather than doing pointless uniform checks in the mornings. They refused to let us revise in the mornings during form time when we have nothing else to (or just random word of the week assemblies) as if the reason we are at school is not to revise but to waste time.\nMy last head of year was very dramatic like this as well, always doing these stilly talks which don\u00e2\u0080\u0099t encourage any good activity from students. I felt that teachers just critiqued and made a big deal of silly little things- especially during covid.\nOne of these is the uniform policy- I don\u00e2\u0080\u0099t understand why uniform is your priority in year 11 exam months, you should be enthusiastic and helping the kids to work hard for their exams rather than doing pointless uniform checks in the mornings. They refused to let us revise in the mornings during form time when we have nothing else to (or just random word of the week assemblies) as if the reason we are at school is not to revise but to waste time.\nMy last head of year was very dramatic like this as well, always doing these stilly talks which don\u00e2\u0080\u0099t encourage any good activity from students.
