We have a highly diverse enviroment and many students are helped when needed. This school by far is one of the best in Haringey and i believe many parents should send their kids here. While I liked the place, the speeches and head teacher were all about results and I still remember the headteacher making a remark on how well this school was doing compared to Highgate School. In essence, the ambition was to be like a selective private school. The examples and the students that were presented were again about results. No consideration about inclusiveness for the less able, no success stories about kids overcoming barriers, I am not sure that this could have been a healthy environment for my kid at the time. Reading the other comments, this belief was reinforced. I had limited interactions with the SEN department and I concluded that SEN kids are seen more as a nuisance that added value.
