Sadly, there seems to be little local alternative so this school keeps getting away with its oppressive and unkind attitude. The school's priorities are all wrong with the focus on appearance rather than substance. The environment is oppressive and there are a swathe of draconian teachers who feel it is acceptable to shout, bully and intimidate students. When challenged about this, the school denies any wrong doing and is totally resistant to change or suggestion. Sadly, there seems to be little local alternative so this school keeps getting away with its oppressive and unkind attitude. There are several genuine and good teachers in this school but they struggle to make any difference with the current governance which in my opinion, needs swept away completely. Recently, they have decided to actually prevent students going to the toilet during class time which has resulted in a child vomitting in the classroom.
