reviews:
I have 2 children one currently in the school and one that has just finished year 6. My eldest started going to the school when she was 2 for stay and play sessions. She then went into the nursery at 3 for 15 hours a week. Then into reception class and so on. And my son did the same. The way the head and her deputies spoke to teachers, parents and pupils had to be witnessed to be believed! Unfortunately most of the good reviews on here are from people who have only been at the school for a short time or they were/are staff. There is NO denying the school had cut like traits and the head was the leader!
But since Xmas and the bad apples leaving it has become one of the most relaxed and happy schools iv been to. The teachers are allowed to speak to the parents in the morning without being watched. Teachers pregnancies are allowed to b celebrated rather than hidden. And most importantly the childrent are so much happy and free to have feelings. Since Xmas the teachers and new heads have worked wonders. My son was diagnosed with dyslexia in January which in my opinion should have been picked up on years ago! We as a family are looking forward to the new school and all the amazing things that I know are happening. Our school is no longer an outstanding school but my god I would never want my children to go to and outstanding school if it was run the way this one was. We have something much better and that's happy children, happy parents and happy staff.
en
I have 2 children one currently in the school and one that has just finished year 6. Rated as in the top 10% of all primary schools nationally according to OFSTED and most definitely the very best in the Bath and North East Somerset area!

As a Mum of 5 and Grandmother of 4, I have experience of sending my family to many different primary schools within the area as we moved house over the years.

We were lucky enough that Trinity opened its gates just in time for our youngest son to start school some 10 years ago! We also moved our youngest daughter, who started in year 4. Well what can I say? You can feel the difference as soon as you walk through the gates of the school! The environments both inside and out are inviting and vibrant with the right balance of exciting exploration with peaceful quiet areas for reflection. The staff are caring and innovative and the Head Teacher... well what can I say? Pepe Hart is just the most inspirational lady I have ever met! She has created a unique setting where ALL children are encouraged to find their inner strengths! As the first BME head teacher in BANES, Mrs Hart has turned conventional teaching on its head!
Children, in my opinion, are not born as 'gifted and talented'. Its the environments and people we choose for them to grow up in and with that shape and mould our children.
Our youngest son, in particular, joined the school as a quiet little boy who had yet to find his 'voice'. Through the excellent care and teaching at Trinity, our children have flourished into independent thoughtful happy and talented young people. They found their inner 'voices' and were allowed to develop as individuals with the school taking the time to help let them excel at their strengths and encourage them to develop the things they found more challenging! Singing, (oh the joyous singing!), music, public speaking, dancing, meeting people who will shape their lives, trips to the theatre, LAUGHTER! The opportunities that are offered to both pupils and their families are exceptional!

If you are looking for the very best all round education for your child and are willing to get involved and fully participate in as much as possible in all of what Trinity has to offer, with your child eager to go to school and smiling and happy on the way home, then this is the school for not just you but your family! I can guarantee that you wont look back!

Both our younger children have now left Trinity and gone onto secondary school. Our daughter is now in 6th form and a fiercely independent young lady with her whole future ahead! Our son, the shy quiet little boy in Conker Class is now a Great Britain Junior Trampoline athlete who is in the top set for all his subjects at secondary school! He says himself that he owes much to Mrs Hart and her team at Trinity for believing in him and encouraging him to reach his full potential.

Now our grandchildren are growing up and are all at Trinity and I am loving seeing them flourish – the next generation to experience what can only be described as an AWESOME educational journey!
Go see it for yourself!
en
The Academy Of Trinity is a rare gem in the primary education system.
