The teachers are habitual lairs as they claim to treat the students as adults yet they cannot be trusted to be responsible for themselves and are treated as primary school kids, 17 and 18 year old students are given detentions for coming 1 minute late to school and are forced to stay after school to study for another half an hour despite already studying for 5 hours. The school justify their policies by the logic that this will help the students be disciplined but in fact the exact opposite happens, the students rebel and start to hate everyday life at school due to inconsiderate harsh rules put in place made to suit the teachers liking. There is always a new type of work experience out every week and you do get some freedom in study areas. The environment overall is one you want to work in and the teachers make you feel welcome too. Access to many facilities are provided too and the ability to leave early is a nice plus. I would recommend to all students. The teaching department is extremely bad with an exception to a few teachers however all teachers are deluded as they are unable to use common sense and basic logic. They are very narrow minded and incapable are helping the children out. In terms of facilities the school has the money and capability to expand but decided not to.\n\nThe teachers and the curriculum of the school places heavy stress on the students as they are expected to revise 15 hours at home (for A level students), on top of doing homework and studying 6 hours a day at school. The teachers are habitual lairs as they claim to treat the students as adults yet they cannot be trusted to be responsible for themselves and are treated as primary school kids, 17 and 18 year old students are given detentions for coming 1 minute late to school and are forced to stay after school to study for another half an hour despite already studying for 5 hours. The school justify their policies by the logic that this will help the students be disciplined but in fact the exact opposite happens, the students rebel and start to hate everyday life at school due to inconsiderate harsh rules put in place made to suit the teachers liking.
