I took 4 hours leave from work to attend the event only to be letdown by the production. See, my boy was nowhere in sight, throughout the program I did not see him at all. There were those who had major roles in the production who repeatedly had speaking parts or at least onstage bits. My boy was a propsman and I did not even get a passing glimpse of him from where I sat taking picture and video. A well-written script would have taken into consideration that all of the kids should at least have some time onstage because every leaver's parent would be waiting excitedly to see their child onstage for whatever bitpart.
