Backwell School

Backwell School is a mixed community secondary school located in North Somerset, with a capacity of 1,697 students. The school is known for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a supportive community environment. Currently, there are approximately 1,300 students in Years 7 to 11 and 390 in the Sixth Form. Backwell School joined the Lighthouse Schools Partnership Multi-Academy Trust in January 2018, enhancing continuity for students transitioning from primary to secondary education.
