I met some friends for life and I am still in contact with one of my teachers (Drama). Psychology was not a strong point for me but my teacher gave me lots of support, within and outside of the subject. Every day going in I had a smile on my face. At the time I was living in poverty and having the most unstable year of my life. After missing an exam at the end of the year, they told me I could retake it next year. They lied! I never got offered a place again. Basically, if you're struggling and not from a good background, then they want you out of there. Just another institution that writes young people off far too quickly! I couldn't tell you what it is like now though.
