Whilst Saint Wilfrids school is excellent on discipline I would like to see more attention provided on what really matters good eduction prospects for ALL children, including those with special educational needs. Also the Catholic ethos of the school has been neglected, I was a student at Saint Wilfrids in the eighties and the Lourdes pilgrimage was very important at Easter and The Catholic education in general used to be very good. I have nothing against school uniform, however the cost of the uniform is just totally unacceptable and unChristain towards those on a very low income. I am not not anti school uniform, I totally support good smart school uniform, the uniform however MUST be affordable for ALL familys. Also the Catholic ethos and education of Saint Wilfrids school should come first and NOT ridiculously expensive school uniform!
