She doesn't get time for free play in the classroom and everything is too... Work focused for a 5 year old. My daughter enjoys most of her time here, but there is a huge lack of creative play and time for art. She feels she doesn't have fun most of the time, which is really sad. She used to love school in reception, then year one started and she says she doesn't enjoy it anymore. She never brings any drawings or artwork home. She doesn't get time for free play in the classroom and everything is too... Work focused for a 5 year old. She'd rather stay at home, and that's a big shame.\nThe lack of a head teacher has definitely been felt, and her teacher leaving with just 4 days notice has unsettled her a lot.\nThe sudden withdrawal from swimming was rubbish too, but that was down to the awful head teacher that was appointed - who has now thankfully left.\nDespite this, I know the teachers work really hard to keep the school running smoothly, and the teachers are fantastic.
