Home Our School About Us About Us Gloucester Nursery School was opened in 1950 as a purpose built nursery school. It offers excellent nursery education and care on a part-time and full-time basis to children aged 3 and 4 years, before they are admitted to primary school. In March 2011, November 2013 and February 2018 we had 'Outstanding' Ofsted Reports Please click to read. Our hours of opening are: Morning Sessions 8.30 am - 11.30 am Afternoon Sessions 12.30 am - 3.30 pm Other Services: Breakfast Club 8.00 am - 8.30 am £4.00 per day Lunch Club 11.30 am - 12.30 pm £7.00 per day After School Activity Club (A-Team) 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm £7.00 per day Tea Club (G3) 3.30 pm - 4 pm £4.00 per day Tea Club (G2) 3.30 pm - 4 pm £4.00 per day In September 2015 Gloucester Nursery School opened its doors to 2 year old children in a new separate, purpose built building in the grounds of the existing Nursery, providing a stimulating environment for children. All the staff have a level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Child Care. At present, the provision for 2 year old places is mainly for morning or afternoon sessions (8.30 - 11.30 am or 12.30 - 3.30 pm). However, we do have a limited number of all day places. The cost of a session is £22.00 however it may be possible that certain children are entitled to 15 hours Funded Early Learning for 2 Year Olds. Eligibility can be checked on at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk "Every child is made to feel important and nursery helps them build up their confidence. Great co-operation between staff and parents (stay and play, grandparents, mother's day, birthdays etc"
