Inadequate is an understatement.\n\nIt's been happening for years and the governors, management, headteacher and teachers - have let the pupils down once again. You'd have thought after a few decades of running a school, LIA would have their interest for the local muslim children. Nope. Not only is the curriculum and teaching a failure - the Islamic ethos and teaching has been also undermined. In the post-ofsted meeting chaired by the Head Governor - he openly called Ofsted a 'regime' and cut parents call for change with his strapline 'The buck stops with me'. Heaven knows why parents send their children to these schools who make a mockery of Muslim schools. Seriously if your looking at LIA, especially for the next few years - move on - there are many better schools in Leicester. Yes, with better facilities, trained empathic teachers, strong leadership and governors who know how to build a school.\n\nIf your sceptical, read the blinding Ofsted report 2015.
