Barnsole Primary School - Welcome from our Headteacher
Barnsole Primary School - Welcome from our Headteacher Welcome I would like to welcome you to Barnsole Primary School. Barnsole is a school where every day we feel a deep sense of pride in our children and all they achieve. Our children are happy at school and enjoy learning. They have excellent attitudes to their learning, behave well and care for one another. We believe that children should have an exciting start to their school life, and this is represented though our ambitious and creative curriculum. We take a holistic approach to the education of our children. As a values-based school, relationships are at the heart of all we do. We place great emphasis on developing the whole child through focusing on language, good manners, honesty, showing respect, cooperation, and collaboration, taking responsibility for themselves and others. We celebrate the success of all the children and are always endeavouring to seek new ways to improve the quality of learning opportunities for everyone. From when the children start in nursery they are taught to value the learning process. They have a deep sense of pride in their learning and what they have achieved, they are also able to talk clearly about what they need to do to further progress. The staff at Barnsole are established, highly skilled and work brilliantly as a team. They always put children first and strive for excellence in everything they do. All staff have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and adopt a solution-focused approach to overcome obstacles and enable everyone to achieve their full potential. We expect nothing but the absolute best from all our children, staff and parents. We aim to always be a school where children and adults are proud to come every day.
