They were from Bromsgrove School . They were in uniform and all looked extremely smart . My wife is a retired teacher . So this is not the best place for your child to strive for actual academic excellence, beyond an A* in GCSEs or A levels. Whilst I do agree that academics shouldn't be everything about a school, the school fails to attend to the needs of different pupils academically.\n\nOn the other hand, the school does have a beautifully build theatre and is very well equipped. The head of performing arts is a man with knowledge passion in the subject and was the saving grace for me at this school, since the academic side was dreadful.\nThe school also admits a large amount of international pupils, which is nothing bad. However the school doesn't hold very high standards when selecting their pupils. So quite some of them aren't the brightest, and don't seem to deserve a place as opposed to a local student with better ability.\n\nOverall an alright school if you want to have an ok school life and get through the public exams. Also good for sportsmen and those with love for performing arts. But if u want to go to Oxbridge or to be actually good at a subject?
