Home Key Information Admissions Admissions Thank you for considering our school for your child/ren. We recognise that they are the most important thing in your lives, and that choosing their school is an emotional journey for everyone. At North Crescent, we consider the safety and wellbeing of children as our primary responsibility. If children feel safe, cared for, valued and heard, they will thrive. Their primary years should be some of the happiest memories of their lives, and together we aim for this to be so for every child. We are a small, caring school with just 30 pupils in each year group. We work closely with our families and so we look forward not only to welcoming your child/ren to our school but also yourselves. We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly, happy and supportive community. ADMISSION FOR THE START OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR Application Form Applications for admissions for Reception need to be made to the Local Authority Essex County Council Applications will open on the Essex County Council website between 10th November 2025 and 15th January 2026. In- year admissions If you require changing your child/rens school during the academic year, then applications can be made via our Trust who process these applications. Please visit the Schools for Every Child website to complete an online form. School Tours School tour dates can be found on our calendar on our website. There is no need to book or advise us of your visit. However, should you need to make an alternative arrangement, please contact our school office on 01268 765905 or email our admin team at admin@northcrescent.org. Admissions Policies Our Admissions policies can be found via the Trust website Admission Appeals Should an admission application not be successful, you are entitled to appeal the decision as soon as you receive our letter stating that we are unable to offer your child a place. Rooms Budding Explorers: for 2 year olds Little Explorers: for 3 and 4 year olds Admission - subject to a place being available Budding Explorers:The term after their 2nd birthday Little Explorers: The term after their 3rd birthday Session Times - Term Time only Mornings: 8.45am to 11.45am Afternoons: 12.15pm to 3.15pm We accept children who wish to stay all day.
