King's Academy Meadow Vale is a large, three-form entry primary school in Bracknell with our own nursery class. Our school enjoys an excellent reputation within our local community because of our hard-working staff team who strive to ensure that every child is encouraged to develop their potential through a stimulating, challenging and relevant curriculum. We are very proud of our school, have high expectations of what we can achieve together and value the significant contribution that parents and carers make to their child’s education. We have outstanding facilities within our large school grounds, including an adventure playground, extensive grassed areas and a wide range of extracurricular activities. Home News & events Admissions consultation Admissions consultation Consultation on proposed admission arrangements for King's Academy Meadow Vale for September 2026 Outcome The admission arrangements have been approved by the Local Governing Board following the period of consultation. Click here to see the original admission arrangements proposal Introduction King's Academy Meadow Vale is a recently converted academy school joining the King's Group Academies. King's Group Academies is now the admission authority for the school and are consulting on the admission arrangements for entry in September 2026. Consultations usually take place when admission authorities wish to make changes to their admission arrangements, or they have not been consulted on in the last 7 years. When converting to become an academy, King's Academy Meadow Vale automatically adopted the admission arrangements set by the Local Authority. Although there are no changes proposed in this consultation, this is the first set of admission arrangements the school will determine as a new academy, and therefore are consulting to ensure the arrangements transferred into their own policy are clear and transparent to all that may use them. Non-Bracknell Forest residents must apply via their own local authority, even if the place is in a Bracknell Forest school. Please check the website of your own local authority for more information. Information for new starters New to our school? Useful information for all parents, as well as new starter presentations for Nursery and Reception, can be found in the attachments section below. Medical conditions notice If your child has a medical condition requiring medication during the school day, please ensure that you notify the school office by completing the medical section of the admission booklet, or by emailing secretary@kgameadowvale.uk with full details. If your child has asthma, complete an asthma action plan and long-term medical form. If your child has an allergy, complete the allergy action plan and long-term medical form. If your child needs to take medication in the short-term, complete the short-term medical form. If your child receives school meals and requires special diets for cultural, medical, or allergy reasons, complete the special diets form on the school meals and trips page. Year 6: Admission to secondary school For children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, the application process for secondary is closed.
