Mayfield Primary School

Mayfield Primary School, located in Oldham, is a community school that has served its local area for over 70 years. As part of the Cranmer Education Trust since January 2016, the school aims to provide high-quality education to children aged 3 to 11. Following a £3.3 million expansion in 2021, Mayfield now operates as a two-form entry school, increasing its capacity to accommodate more students and offering parents more choice in education.

The school is committed to delivering a rich and ambitious curriculum that fosters knowledge and skills across various subjects. Emphasis is placed on developing children's social and emotional skills, encouraging them to become confident, independent learners who can articulate their ideas and engage with others positively. The curriculum is designed to build resilience and a strong work ethic, ensuring students are well-prepared for future challenges.
