Behaviour is exemplary, where children are polite, respectful and attentive to any visitor and staff are extremely approachable and welcoming. My children have thrived at this school, where \u00e2\u0080\u009cwell-roundedness\u00e2\u0080\u009d is at the heart of the curriculum, with regular art and competitive sports days on the calendar and strong topic-led learning. We deliver skills based around Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy, focussing on such aspects as building self-esteem, raising confidence, resilience, empathy, mindfulness, self-awareness, self-worth and so much more - all skills that are very much part of the Barnston \u00e2\u0080\u0098way\u00e2\u0080\u0099. Every time we have worked with the various classes, each and every group has given enthusiasm, passion and that sense of fun (whist still maintaining respect) towards us and our programme. The teachers have always been incredibly supportive of the work we do, and all appear to have a fabulous relationship with the children - always wonderful to see. One particular aspect that always strikes me from the children at Barnston, is how kind they are to each other - another joy to see. My belief is that this of course stems from the way the school is lead by the fabulous Head and staff and the \u00e2\u0080\u0098success\u00e2\u0080\u0099 ethos that surrounds the school.
