I don't mean by lessons and subjects, i'm talking about life skills e.g. how to keep safe, how to care for myself, who to speak to if I face any problems in and out of school.\n\nI'm not saying this school is perfect, because it's not. It has its flaws and I think that the current Year 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s have really pushed teachers limits and will do anything to put our school down. I personally don't believe this issue about Mrs Woodfield mentioning that criminals are behind all of this because this isn't true, I think the girls in our school are just stupid and don't see what putting the school down and lying can do to us collectively. They think its a joke and a game and they don't understand this and if they did then maybe they wouldn't do this , but for them it's like a joke. After that assembly we had I think many of the girls realised that what they did was wrong, and I hope that the Ofsted come back to really see how our girls are like and forget about that incident in May because this wasn't our girls, they were just messing about and trying to intimidate the Inspectors without realising what impact it has.\n\nTeachers in our school are okay. It is normal for someone to prefer a teacher over another teacher or dislike some teacher because that's part of school life and growing up. I personally believe that there is one teacher who is a pastoral manager of KS4 (Rubina Jan) and I strongly believe she does favourite Pakistanis over Somalians, Patarns, Arabs etc. Now this is my own opinion, however I can say some people will agree with me on this. Whenever we have a problem we are forced to speak with our own Key Stages; even if we don't wan to; as we believe they don't try their hardest to listen to us and take action. They will make you write a statement up and then send you back to lesson cause getting a mark is more important to them than sorting problems out. This then leads to the fights escalating and then teachers start going harsh with sanctions, which wouldn't have to be the case if they had just tried to listen the first time. During the last month we've had numerous physical fights happen on our school site due to this reason of teachers leaving the issues till it escalates.\n\nAnother point I want to address is that our school is very immediate to give sanctions and exclusions but won't ever give us praise or rewards for the hard work we do. For example, own clothes days and Trips; we hardly get these because the teachers think it will affect our attendances but I personally believe it will boost our confidence and young girls. We work ourselves off by coming to extra lessons, taking part in scheduled litter duties, doing exams like every month and our teacher's won't even reward us? We at least deserve some sort of trip to say well done, because this will decrease the depression levels of the girls in our school and instead boost their confidence levels because if they know they will get something for working hard then maybe they will work hard.\n\nI could have more to rant on but I'm going to end it on m point which is how the girls feel. Now as I am a student of this school I have felt it all and therefore would like to share my experience and how I feel and how other girls feel. I am thankful and lucky to be put into such a good repuatated school and that I know for a fact that if I keep my head down I will get somewhere in life, however some days I do not look forward to school. This is because as a student here I have so much responsibilities which are revision, heaps of homework that are given in such less time to do, and the constant exam stress. Some teachers are very bad at motivation and will tell us we aren't worthy of doing well because of the way we act and that we won't get anywhere, which (like the trips) isn't a good thing because how will it motivate us? Not all teachers do this because some are really helpful.","languageCode":"en"},"originalText":{"text":"To be honest, I am not a hater of this school, in fact growing up in this school I have learnt a lot or things that I don't think i would have been taught in other schools.
