I visited a number of local schools and quickly settled on Holy Trinity (which we were fortunate enough to get) and there are a number of reasons why...\n\n1) The values of the school: HT is about inclusiveness, community, instilling great values in our children and also ensuring that each child's needs are catered for as individually as possible. My children each learn very differently and I feel the school have strategies in place to support both of them. I feel they are always open to new ways of teaching and have an excellent team of staff.\n\n2) Which brings me to my next point - The staff: Having been in the school now for five years, I have met a number of teachers. I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with the staff we have had and all have had qualities that I value and have ultimately benefitted my children. I also love that there are a number (I would say at least 10) male staff members, which I know is rare for a school. The staff also seem to have great longevity which I can only assume is a good thing.\n\n3)The space: HT is a school that is all on one level which gives the feeling of space, coupled with the fact the school has excellent green space for the children to run around\/play in. They also back onto allotments which again gives a spacious feeling and ultimately not surrounded by brick which so many London schools are.\n\nI have honestly never once questioned our decision to send the kids to HT. I know that everyone has certain expectations from a school and for me I feel HT covers the lot. The children have always run in, they have great friends there, they learn and have amazing support from the teaches and staff. I know HT gets great results from their students but for me that was a by-product. The fact the children are ultimately extremely happy and having fun was the most important thing to us.\nI cannot recommend HT enough!","languageCode":"en"},"originalText":{"text":"Living in Richmond we are fortunate enough to have access to amazing schools which for me made the decision of where to send our children all the more harder.
