Southbury Primary School - Welcome
Home Welcome Welcome As Headteacher, it is my pleasure to warmly welcome you to Southbury Primary School's website. Southbury is a happy and successful multicultural two-form entry primary school, built in 1905 and situated in Enfield. As a school, we are extremely proud to reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of the area we serve. Our school vision is very simple but of fundamental importance to us all. We want all of our staff and parents/carers to work together to enable all the children who pass through the school to reach their full potential in a safe, happy and caring environment. Our school motto is 'Dream Big, Fly High' and that is our wish for our children. We want our pupils to leave Southbury confident that they will be able to succeed in secondary school and beyond. Ultimately, we hope that they will be lifelong learners who will be able to find employment that they enjoy doing and is meaningful and rewarding for them as they continue with their journeys through life. To achieve this, it is crucial they have the best possible start to school life and that is what we aim to give them at Southbury. The school has been very successful over the years and as a staff, we constantly strive to offer the pupils at Southbury the best possible education. We are proud to deliver an exciting and enriching curriculum, as well as lots of real-life experiences that will provide children with a range of knowledge and skills. We are proud of our school and what we can offer and would warmly welcome anyone interested in sending their child to attend Southbury to come along and see us in action. If you would like to book a viewing of the school, please contact us via the school office and we will gladly book you in. Southbury Primary School - Values
Home Parents' Area Values Values Southbury Whole School Core Values At Southbury we are committed to helping our pupils become knowledgeable, independent and positive members of the school, local and global community. One of the many ways we encourage this is through our whole school Values which are linked closely to our shared British Values. The key value changes on a half termly basis and is covered daily across the curriculum, through discussion and in assemblies. They are key to the social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and moral development of the whole child. We encourage children to consider these values, and thereby to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable them to develop as reflective learners and grow to be emotionally intelligent, educated and civilised adults. *Click here to view our Core Values at Southbury* *Click here to read about the coverage of British Values*
