I appreciate the strong family environment in the sixth form and am proud I chose Cardinal Wiseman for 6th Form. The school is a prime example of how we should love and support one another, which is deeply rooted in the school's Catholic ethos. Humanity is at the heart of the school and its actions and support towards students, ensuring they are safe and well prepared academically as well as for their future lives. I can honestly say I couldn't have found a better school than this. Definitely recommended. The treatment for students with disorders and disabilities is even worse, they talk about mental health but rarely support the students when they talk about it. They do not let students express themselves in anyway and they have stupid rules for the colour of girls' bras (being that it cannot be shown through the t shirt, which is merely impossible). they cannot even wait for their friends outside, go to the shops for some food or drink. Rules for lateness is horrendous, near our area it is very hard to get out of in the mornings as there is roadwork and traffic (its near the a40) and she would get a detention for being 1 minute late. the school says 'they will love their students' but all they do is make them develop depression and anxiety (or worse). If you get into trouble instead of educating you they will give you a large pointless workbook and put you in a small room at the back of the school , isolated from the rest as punishment, this is severely detrimental to a childs wellbeing.
