I know this probably isn’t the first time your hearing or seeing this, but the fact that majority opinions and reviews of madani are negative shows how bad the school is. I’ve been going for over three years and I’ve had to say my mental and physical health has been affected; badly. And the spiritual side is the worst. I remember I used to go madrasah before I came madani, and from What they taught I absolutely loved Islam and I was so proud to be a Muslim. Ever since I stepped into madani, I’m not surprised that non Muslims think that we are t***orists. First of all, if you don’t know, recently the T4L!B4N have overthrown the Afghanistan government. However I was extremely shocked the day a certain teacher came in and indirectly taught us that what the T4L1B4N were doing may be okay. They kept trying to justify their actions by saying “social media is biased by the western people”. That doesn’t Justify the thousands of deaths they have caused. Not to mention this type of mindset it extremely dangerous and teaching it to young impressionable minds? We were not allowed to take notes for those two lessons because they said if ofsted came and checked our books the school would have a risk of shutting down. But I wanted to expose them for their disturbing views so here I am. And I could get in trouble for this but it’s okay because I wan to speak out so other parents don’t make their children suffer through this. We are made to keep our hijabs pinned at the top and we get into trouble when our scarfs, even though all our awra ( parts that should be covered ie. skin, shape of body ) is covered. They shame us for having any type of scarf style other than the old fashioned way of pinning it at the top. I understand if they make us pin it outside, but no, they also make us pin it inside even though it’s a girl school. I am disgusted by some of these reviews and it's quite evident they have been composed by children who were forced by THEIR parents to attend from the very colourful adjectives used. My youngest daughter recently graduated from Madani and is currently attending a top Russel group University and is doing very well in life Alhumdulillah. I will always be grateful to this school for helping me raise my daughter in the difficult society we live in today. I'd like to address a few things. Uniform - Every school has uniform policies. If you have an issue with hijab try making sure your tie is worn correctly in other schools. Education - I commend this school for hiring only qualified teachers as I know their fees are the lowest in London (£2550 please fact check your numbers Google is easily accessible) I've had a few concerns over the years how ever have addressed my qualms directly with the school and it's always been seen to. This is standard in any school or organisation -please make sure you communicate with the school. Welfare - Madani have progressed immensely in this aspect, they now have an NHS practitioner on site and Welfare team. The main welfare concern here is parents who are forcing their children to stay in a school which their child doesn't as they'd prefer to be in a different environment away from religion - which is fine we're raising our children in a very tough generation. It's a shame as some of these children are clearly leaving with a lot of hatred which is being deflected at the 4 walls of Madani. If you'd like to confirm my above review or contest it please contact me. I'd be happy to provide factual evidence rather than decorated statements.
en
I am an ex parent of this school of 10 years (both my daughter's studied here) I came across the reviews as my granddaughter will be hopefully joining next academic year. This school is a complete mess teachers are leaving all the time and not even staying for long, once a science teacher left and we had a cover teacher who did not even bother to do anything for more than 3 months. Teachers make things like drawing people a big deal (which is understandable) but then again... they go on to tell you misleading and disturbing stories of Jiins. This is where im completely confused as to how teachers claim they have never watched a movie (to seem some what holy and religious) and im not joking on this then go again to say a story that goes along the lines of 'a woman falling in love with a Jiin' yes, a Jiin a demon 'to then get pregnant'. I know these stories and pathetic and made up but then again, I cannot help to think about it even when though I do not want to, now imagine how other girls will think when they are not even aware of the wrongness of these stories. Teachers are so fixated on the belief that someone can’t change no matter how good you try to be there is always going to be a flaw they will pinpoint you on. Once a teacher even admitted that she and other staff talk about certain students in the staff room...like okay but then she made it so obvious is wasn't the 'good type of talk' and even claimed that she always backed up the student like I don't understand why would you need to say that, is your point that 'I like you as a student and teachers always backchat about you but I back you up' because that's what it honestly sounded like. Coming to this school and waking up is so dreadful and the last thing want I want to think about when I’m happy which I’m sure should not be the case for anyone, I think school is somewhere where you enjoy learning and being happy and not a place you least want to go and not even get good education. Recently they have updated the website and it looks nice but once your there and see the places they haven’t shown its disgusting. You want to know what's funny too? one teacher clearly spoke to us about how wrong social media is and how 'people don't care about what you eat' or 'get a life people always show the good side and not the reality nobody cares about your daily life' this teacher had always some what seemed intimidating and smart but when I found out this teacher had 5k followers on Instagram i was shocked but i cant judge right? that's her thing outside of school but... when you see what she posts you will be shocked if you heard all the lessons she had explained how everything she found wrong she did herself. Food pics, her daily life, promoting useless things, and yes I can't say anything but had she not wasted her time saying everything that was 'wrong' and to then see her do it herself i would of not said anything but this clearly shows the 2 sides of a people in this school and the work she does isn't even halal, is it right to put 10 tones of make up on a woman to fully transform her to a point you can't even recognize her? no, you might as well go have plastic surgery. I don't even know any pros for this school other than some students are nice but honestly that's not the reason I go to school, it is a shame moving secondary schools isnt easy but if it where I would have left long time ago. If you’re going to come to this school or your planning on putting your daughter here don’t, you might as well put her in a non-Islamic girls school, at least they will let you pick your GCSE subjects
en
Seeing students confident enough to speak about this school and the reality makes me happy that they can stand up for themselves and tell people the truth. If you’re going to come to this school or your planning on putting your daughter here don’t, you might as well put her in a non-Islamic girls school, at least they will let you pick your GCSE subjects
en"}}]
