My class was next to the headteacher's office and shura meetings used to take place there, it was well-known amongst my classmates that they would snoop through out personal trays, a certain Mr R even took pictures of my table and belongings and sent to my father via email saying "look what I found on your daughter's table" as my surname was written on it. This is absolutely disgusting, for a stranger to touch a teenage girl's belongings. When this was reported to the shura they as usual did nothing.
I saw lots of nasty and horrible things happen to students by the teachers and when parents came in to complain the headteacher and the shura always defended the culprits.
For example a teacher touched up a girl to look for a phone on her, she even felt her inappropriately, when the parent came to complain the headteacher said "imagine if the girl had a knife or a gun".
Another example is a high achieving student in my class was put on lower tier in maths simply because the teacher didn't like her, when her mother complained the headteacher refused to address the issue, that girl did her GCSE maths elsewhere and received A*.
I used to finish my classwork early so I used to be sent to reception and year one classes to help out, what I used to witness was appalling, Miss kulthoom malji used to be always screaming at the top of her lungs at the little girls, she would tell them to shut up and face the wall outside of the class. The other reviews highlighting the misbehaviour of certain teachers like miss kulthoom malji are all actually true. The newer reviews refuting this obviously trying to clear her name. Tayibah girl school's bad reputation for mistreating and abusing students is not going to change over night by a few false positive reviews. There is a clear denial by the shura that they have done many students harm, and they refuse to change their ways.
en
I was one of the "good" students at this school, which meant that I kept my mouth shut, that I didn't stand up to myself or others when certain teachers constantly berated us. They are just lying.
Ok so everyone is saying “it’s a good school, lots of gcse options”
Name all the options other than the ones I named aka forced to take. An option means you as a student get to pick, not teachers pick for you. I dare you to name them. They have No art, sociology, design tech, economics, media, psychology etc
It's very funny how these recent reviews said Tayyibah is a good school and said that they have GCSE "options" if they do what are they? exactly you cant answer that because they don't have options. teachers force you to take computer science, religious education, history and a language which you can choose between Arabic Urdu and Turkish even though the funny thing is that they do not have a Turkish or Urdu teacher so technically its just taking the GCSE without a teacher teaching you (There's an Arabic teacher though)

It gave many people psychological trauma including myself due to some teachers that I will not publicly name and shame. if you want to take the risk of making YOUR kids lives miserable go ahead i don't control your money.
oh and a review said they are going to inform "TGS of our lies" ok let me further say that you are the one lying to yourself by saying that its a good school because I don't see what's good about it like come on its a private school and it performs worse than a public school, and by calling it "Islamic" doesn't make sense because spreading misinformation ( which technically leads to theft) is not Halal.

And what else is TGS going to do? ban me from spreading awareness? give me a detention for spreading my experience? I don't get people sometimes when they say something is good when it is absolutely appalling.

However its not really fair for me to only say the bad points about this school, as I can see why parents want to send their kids to an Islamic school. I have to say that they do teach Islamic studies properly to a good standard, although it is ironic of the school's many deceiving marketing.
Excuse me gurl? Wallahi i am sending a email to the school. This is a very good school have u even been there? Also ik many ppl that go to Tayyibah and they are fine there. You are just jealous.
